Based on six years of extensive research to address thinning hair, the patented KeraFactor™ formula combines a set of biomimetic (bio-identical) polypeptides for scalp revitalization. The customized KeraFactor™ formula provides growth factors typically deficient in the scalp during hair loss or poor hair health. Other topical products include only a few growth factors, and no other commercially available topical consists of the complete set included in the KeraFactor™ formula. Our proprietary and patented technology allows the KeraFactor™ formula to contain significantly higher concentrations of each growth factor.

Lutronic has two state-of-the-art technology systems that can assist in the scalp's preparation to increase the absorption of KeraFactor™ serum. Specifically, the Lutronic LaseMD Ultra™ creates microchannels in the epidermis during a 10-15 minute treatment with minimal discomfort and no downtime for patients. One study shows enhanced absorption five to seven times due to these sponge-like microchannels. Absorption of the KeraFactor™ serum allows hair follicles to receive compounds that initiate repair and renewal of the scalp to produce thicker, healthy, fuller-looking hairs.

Each of the KeraFactor™ growth factors are individually wrapped in their own protective nanoliposome "shell" for increased skin absorption. The “Nano” liposome is a particle size of <200nm to ensure absorption via the hair duct into the epidermis (sebaceous gland & bulge area). Our nanoliposomes contain thousands of each specific growth factors. 

Most of the growth factors included in the KeraFactor™ serum have been very difficult to synthesize in the past. As a result, available topical formulations do not have these growth factors or have low concentrations of some of them. Our growth factors are synthesized in high concentrations and wrapped in nanoliposomes separately through proprietary and patented manufacturing processes. Currently, KeraFactor™ is the only family of products on the market that includes all of these growth factors, each in relatively high concentrations.

Biomimetic means that the compound is made with the same chemical structure as the "real" human version, mimicking the functions of the compounds produced naturally by the human body. The KeraFactor™ serum includes only synthetic compounds. The KeraFactor™ serum does not contain any compounds extracted from plants, animals, or humans (e.g., human cord blood, stem cell media, or bone marrow).

One of the skin's critical functions is to protect the body's interior from toxins and injury, which can make it difficult for certain products to absorb. The nanoliposome encapsulation of the KeraFactor™ growth factors allows penetration into the scalp via the hair ducts. Lutronic LaseMD Ultra™ creates additional microchannels to increase absorption of the KeraFactor™ serum, which improves results by giving additional entry points on the scalp.

The LaseMD Ultra™ system provides complementary preparation of the scalp to increase the KeraFactor™ serum absorption. KeraFactor™ products contain large concentrations of biomimetic growth factors that most patients who have poor hair and scalp health lack.

Our medical providers will discuss potential risks and side effects before your treatment. Short-term immediate risks include temporary redness, heat, tingling sensations, and swelling, typically lasting for a short duration. Skin irritation can occur if you have sensitivities or allergies to the treatment products, but these products are free from sulfates, parabens, and other common allergens. There are no known interactions with drugs, vitamins, or supplements.

KeraFactorMD™ contains one new growth factor, Follistatin, and 2 new compounds, PDRN, and NanoFluorosomes, to accelerate the original serum's effectiveness. Our new and improved serum has DHT-blocking capability amplifying the results already seen with the original formula. 

In the KeraFactor™ original formula, we could synthesize seven of the eight growth factors initially outlined in our patent. Over the last four years, we have worked hard to create a bioavailable version of the eighth growth factor known as Follistatin, FST. Follistatin is a binding and signaling protein imperative to hair's life cycle management. 

In addition to the inclusion of FST, polydeoxyribonucleotide or PDRN has been added to stabilize the hair follicle on a cellular level. PDRN has been used to improve the consistency of PRP injections. It does this by boosting cellular activity and cell turnover. Combined with the other eight growth factors found in the KeraFactorMD, it creates a more stable and effective scalp treatment formula.

KeraFactorMD™ contains a potent anti-inflammatory and anti-androgenic compound wrapped into our nanoliposome, a new technology called NanoFluorosome™. The fluorescent compound can be activated by using a red light laser, which can significantly increase the proprietary compound's effectiveness, making it the perfect localized and specific 1, 2 punch against poor scalp circulation and DHT. 

DHT blocking is a critical part of any hair loss prevention treatment because DHT causes the hair follicles to lose their blood supply, shrink, and die. The most effective way to reduce DHT is by taking prescription medicine called a five alpha-reductase inhibitor such as finasteride. This can systemically reduce the levels of DHT in the body, which can reduce the damage caused to hair follicles. While effective when taken orally, the known side effects of such medication have generated concern among patients.
